Rodriguez to MSU
Freddie Rodriguez, who is going into his junior year at Holt High School in Michigan, has given a verbal commitment to Michigan State. Rodriguez, who is ranked as the No. 6 recruit in the Class of 2012 by InterMat, has won several national events in 2010, including Junior Nationals in both styles. He is also a two-time state champion. Rodriguez went 56-2 as a sophomore en route to winning the state title at 112 pounds. He becomes the first top recruit from the Class of 2012 to commit. Heyman to Binghamton
Darak Heyman (Tioga, NY), a two-time New York state finalist and 2009 state champion, has given a verbal commitment to Binghamton. He is projected at 141 pounds in college. Heyman was listed as one of New York's Top 10 recruits in the Wrestling 49 series.
