MARK MANNING, University of Nebraska.  Manning took over the Nebraska program in 2001 and opened with a 9-0 record, the best start in school history and led that team to an 8^th place finish at the NCAA Tournament.  He continued to build the Nebraska program with a 7^th place finish the following season, and 5^th in the 2004 NCAAs supported with a (28-2) team record.  Prior to Nebraska, he turned around the Northern Iowa Program that place 41^st the year before he took over, and elevated it to a 9^th place in the 2000 NCAA Championships.  He also served as assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma for 4 years and the University of North Carolina from 1985-1993.  Manning also has extensive experience at the world level as USA National Freestyle Coach and serving as an assistant coach for the Olympic Team in Atlanta in 1996 and Sydney in 2000.

BOBBY DEBERRY, Sunnyside HS, AZ. Named 2004 National Coach of the Year by the National Coaches Association and will be awarded at the 2005 NCAAs.  DeBerry runs one of the nation’s top programs and his record which speaks for it’s self includes an amazing 7 straight team state titles, 46 All-Americans, 44 individual state champions, and over 200 state placer winners!  Listed as a National dynasty by Wrestling USA Magazine, Sunnyside has recorded (506 wins to 6 losses) since 1976 and piled up 24 team state championships, 4 team state runner ups and 107 individual state champions in that time.  Bobby is a great motivator and outstanding clinician.

DENNIS FRIEDLAND, Rio Rancho HS, NM.  Friedland, was named Coach of the Year in New Mexico after coming off an incredible season that put 8 wrestlers in the finals and crowned 7 state champions!  His team placed 13 of 14 wrestlers and set a state record of 297 points in the state tournament.  Friedland’s teams have also won the last 4 team dual titles as well as the last 4 individual team titles.  He also produced 4 Junior National All-Americans from his 2004 high school team.  Since taking over, Rio Rancho has been ranked nationally and as high as #16 by Amatuer News, #20 by N.W.C.A., and #24 by Wrestling USA Magazine.  

ROBERT HIRSCH,  Watertown HS, SD.  Hirsch, Coach of the Year, is a dynamic technician entering his 21^st season as a head coach with 330 career victories.  After becoming an All-American at Northern State College in 1982 he has commanded the wrestling programs at Buffalo HS, Milbank HS and Watertown HS.  The Watertown program also has a storied history and is listed among Wrestling USA Magazine’s Dynasties for winning 10 State Titles and 12 State Runner Ups over the past 30 years.  Hirsch has also served as President of the South Dakota Coaches Association, USA Wrestling Chairman and AAU State Representative.
