Finals: Long got on the board fist with a three point headlock. Unable to hold Adams on his back, Adams reverses long to cut the defecit to 3-1. Long, an Iowa state qualifier hits a cement job from his feet and scores the fall in 1:51.

Finals: Cox gets on the board first with a head lock for three as Taylor rolls him through for two. Taylor gets on top and hits a reverse lift for three and one. Taylor then hits a trap arm gut for two and another point for holding him for one point and does it again to lead 11-3. Trailing 11-3, Cox hits another that he uses to secure the fall with one second left in the period.

Final: Garjales came out quickly scoring off a slide by for a 1-0 lead. Furches took his only lead of the match stepping over Grajales gut wrench for a 2-1 lead. Grajales quickly tied the match at 2-2 with a takedown and then increased the lead to 6-2 at the break scoring off two guts. Grajales broke the match open in the second period with a two point exposure score and then finished the match with a headlock for three and one to win by tech fall 13-2.

Final: A very tight and exciting final. Clark took a 1-0 lead at the break scoring off a hand to hand gut after Touris was hit for being passive. Touris got on the board midway through the second period countering a Clark throw for one. Touris then took the lead scoring twice on hand to hand guts for one each.

1st Place: Nikko Triggas (California) tech fall Bo Beckman (Utah) 13-3
Final: Beckman jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead with a takedown and gut wrench. Trailing 3-0, Triggas would cut the lead to 3-1 at the break with his own one point takedown. Trailing 3-1 with a minute to go, Triggas hit a three point hip toss to lead 4-3. Triggas then locked up a trap arm gut to score the next nine points by turning Beckman for two and holding him for one.

1st Place: Michael Mangrum (Washington) tech fall Trenton Washington (Nebraska) 11-1
Final: Mangrum took control of the match early scoring off a gut for two after, Washington was called for passive. Washington cut the lead to 2-1 scoring a reveral. Mangrum took control in the second hitting a hip toss for one and then scoring a two point turn. Mangrum then wowed the crowd a five point reverse lift. With the five point throw and one point for lift gave Mangrum the tech fall. Mangrum then put on a show for the crowd hitting numerous backflips to celebrate his win.

5th – Jason Chamberlain (UT) tech. fall Josh Roberts (ND), 11-0, 1:13
7th - Nick Turpin (GA) dec. Tyler Holloway (MO), 7-4

1st Place: DaVaughan Perkins (Nebraska) dec Dak Adamson (New Mexico) 6-2
Final: Perkins got on the scoreboard first with a one point takedown off a scramble and quickly turned Adamson for two off a gut to lead 3-0. Perkins took the 3-0 lead to the break. Perkins increased his lead by scoring off another gut after countering an Adamson throw. Leading 6-0, Perkins played defense for the remainder of the match. Adamson was able to close the gap slightly scoring off his own gut after Perkins was hit for being passive. Perkins held off Adamson in the waning seconds to secure his first national title.
3rd – Rodrigo Baez (FL) dec. Jaron Hathaway (ID), 10-6
5th – Avery Garner (ID) dec. Derek Ellis (CA), 6-4
7th - Michael Robinson (PA) dec. Brandon Bucher (PA), 6-0

1st Place: Jacob Deitschler (Minnesota) vs. Travis Rutt (Minnesota) 5-3
Final: In an all Minnesota battle, Deitschler came out on top after trailing 3-0. After a scoreless first period, Rutt struck first with a three point throw off a hip toss. AS Rutt was trying to hold Deitschler on his back, Deitschler was able to roll him through for two and then hold Rutt on his back for five seconds to add another point. Deitschler quickly then hit a trap arm gut to seal his 5-3 win.

5th –Aldon Isenberg (KS) dec. Donnie Vinson (NY), 11-0, 2:25
7th - Robert Hunter (CA) dec. Trevor Melde (NJ), 9-4
135 lbs.
1st Place: Shane Nay (Missouri) dec Jake Salazar (Utah) 5-4
Final: Nay and Salazar had one of the best matches of the finals. Nay scored first in the match when he countered Salazar's gut attempt for one which was the only scoring of the period. Nay increased his lead to 2-0 when he attempted an arm throw and Salazer was called for fleeing. With under :30 to go, Salazar took the lead hitting a nice headlock for three and holding Nay for the additional point to lead 4-2. Nay was able to reverse Salazar with ten seconds left. After the wrestlers went out of bounds, Nay was still on top for the final seconds and was able to convert a tilt with no time on the clock for the 5-4 win.

1st Place: Alec Ortiz (Oregon) dec Vince Ramos (Illinois) 8-1
Final: Ortiz won his first Cadet National title by scoring all of his points in one ten second spurt in the match. After Ramos was called for passive, Ortiz scored a two point gut wrench and then was able to lift and throw Ramos for five and then added another point for the lift to build an 8-0 lead. That was all the scoring Ortiz would need. Ramos added a piont late in the match when he was able to lift Ortiz.

1st Place: Eren Civan (Maryland) dec George Bancroft (Florida) 5-1
Final: Bancroft opened the scoring with a one point hand to hand gut after Civan was called for being passive. Holding onto a 1-0 lead, Bancroft was called for passive in the second. Civan locked up a reverse lift and threw Bancroft on the edge off the mat. The mat referee awarded no point, but the mat judge awarded three. The mat chairman then confered with the referee and mat judge and three points were awarded. With Civan holding a 3-1 lead, Bancroft was close to scoring off the front headlock position in the waning seconds. Forcing the position, Civan countered and added another two points as the clock ran out.

Final: Hacker got the Oklahoma crowd pumped up by scoring first with a two point gut for the only points in the first period. Chaires tied the match scoring off his own gut for two in the second period. With the match tied 2-2, Chaires nearly won the match in regulation when the mat referee awarded a one point takedown on the edge as time expired. The mat judge and chairman over ruled the call and the match went to overtime. Hacker got to lock in the clinch first but Chaires hit a nice body lock throw for three and the win.

1st Place: Torrey Line (Minnesota) tech fall Tito Pica (California) 11-0
Final: Line controlled the match throughout and was dominant from the par terre postion. Line scored first in the opening period with a two point gut to lead at the break 2-0. Line broke the match open in the second period when he was back on top was able to lock up a trap arm gut to score nine quick points for the tech fall.

Final: Buck opened the match quickly hitting a body lock throw in the first ten seconds. With a comfortable 9-3 lead, Lopez hit a tight headlock for three as time ran out in the match.

7th - Zachary Benzio (PA) tech. fall Nathan Schiedel (NY), 14-3, ot, 3:01

1st Place: Deron Winn (Missouri) tech fall Marcel Dubose (Michigan) 14-3
Final: Winn came out on top in a very explosive final at 189lbs. Winn scored quickly off a body lock for three and quickly turned Dubose off a gut wrench for a 5-0 lead. Winn increased his lead to 8-0 with an arm throw for three. Dubose got on the board with two point reveral by rolling Winn through on the throw. Dubose cut the lead to 8-3 scoring a one point lift. Winn reversed Dubose for one and then hit a two point gut to lead 11-3 at the break. Winn closed out the match in the second hitting a lateral drop for three to get the tech fall and win his second consecutive Cadet National Championship.

1st Place: Tyrell Fortune (Oregon) dec Dom Bradley (Missouri) 11-3
Final: In a wild and explosive final Fortune won his first national title. Bradley came out and launched Fortune with a lateral in the first few seconds. The match went back and forth with lots of battling for position. Trailing 3-0 and time running out Fortune locked up a bodylock and threw Bradley for five from his feet. He upped the lead by scoring off a hand to hand gut to lead 6-3. After blood time for Bradley, Fortune was still on top and scored off another gut for an 8-3 lead. With the wrestlers on their feet, Bradley was pushing for the throw but it opened himself up for another beautiful body lock throw by Fortune as time ran down.

Final: Caragein scored his first points scoring a gut for two in the first period after Rey was called for passive. Caragein sealed his win with a three point body lock throw in the second period.
