Duke 1st. Assistant Wrestling Coach
Assisting with direction of all phases of the Wrestling program, instruction and coaching student-athletes, practice planning, team travel, video coordination, administrative duties, supporting sport growth opportunities and events, assisting and monitoring student-athlete’s academic progress. Ability to Identify and recruit academically qualified and athletically talented student-athletes. Ability to understand and comply with all rules and regulations of Duke University, the ACC and the NCAA.
Establish and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, administrators, alumni and the public.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
This position, along with all coaches and staff, is responsible for the integrity of our intercollegiate athletics program and for the reputation of our university. Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a large variety of constituents. Collegiate wrestling experience required. Previous coaching experience required.
Bachelor’s degree is required.
