Head Women's Wrestling Coach
Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, is seeking a Head Women’s Wrestling Coach.
This is a full-time, 10-month position responsible for all phases of the Women’s Wrestling program in a manner compatible with Athletics Department and Waldorf College philosophies.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. A minimum of two years coaching experience, preferred at the collegiate level.
Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills; proven ability to recruit quality Wrestling student-athletes, instruction of wrestling techniques, fundamentals, coaching skills and psychological skills training; scheduling and coaching practices and contests equipment control, retaining student-athletes, a commitment to ensuring strong atmosphere of the student-athletes’ academic progress including monitoring student-athletes’ progress toward a degree, monitoring annual sport budget (fiscal responsibility); coordinating travel arrangements; fundraising; community involvement; organizing and managing camps and clinics and any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
