Assistant Coach, Wrestling
Brown University invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Wrestling. This position assists the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive NCAA Division I wrestling program. Responsibilities include assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and dual meet scheduling, fundraising, clinics, community outreach, and the administration of team budgets of the wrestling program. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, one to three years’ coaching experience at the collegiate level and/or competitive collegiate wrestling experience, ability to recruit within NCAA and Ivy League rules; strong organizational, creative writing; interpersonal, oral communication and computer skills. The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
