Wayland Baptist University - Assistant Coach
Wayland Baptist University, a private faith based NAIA institution in Plainview, Texas is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the women & men’s wrestling programs.
Applicants should have received a bachelor’s degree. The candidate must also have, or be willing to attain, a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Duties include: recruitment and retention of student-athletes that will fit into Wayland’s culture. Monitor academic progress and eligibility. Assist in planning and organization of team’s events train (training and travel). Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model at all times. Ensure compliance with all necessary policies, procedures, and regulations of Wayland & the NAIA. Help with other various administrative processes and procedures.
This position is a full time position that offers a salary with benefits.
The Wayland Baptist University Pioneers are the only intercollegiate wrestling program in Texas.
